2. Nature of Website & Client Engagements

The content, case studies, service descriptions, and architectural benchmarks presented on this website are provided for informational, discovery, and evaluation purposes.

Visiting our website, booking an introductory call, or exchanging exploratory emails does not constitute a binding contract to deliver custom software or engineering deliverables. All formal client engagements, deliverables, milestones, payment schedules, and performance standards are governed solely by an executed Statement of Work (SOW) or Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed by both parties.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

• Cossence IP: The Cossence name, the 5-element aperture brand mark, signature wordmark, site architecture, visual design, custom shaders, and editorial copy are the exclusive intellectual property of Cossence and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• Client Deliverables: In all custom engineering and software development projects, ownership of bespoke source code, application architectures, and client deliverables transfers to the client upon full receipt of contracted fees, as explicitly specified in the client’s Statement of Work.

4. Client Materials & Representations

When you provide specifications, brand assets, APIs, datasets, or third-party credentials to Cossence for project evaluation or development, you represent that you own or have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and rights to use and share those materials.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to protect and treat all non-public technical, commercial, financial, and strategic information exchanged during project scoping, discovery calls, or delivery as confidential information, exercising the same degree of care as with their own proprietary assets.

6. Warranties & Disclaimers

This website and its contents are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While we strive for precision and uptime, Cossence does not warrant that website functions will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Specific technical warranties and production service levels for client applications are defined solely within formal client service agreements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cossence, its founders, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to access this website or any information provided herein.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal suit or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
